The ICP program wants to adapt this concept for slum dwellings keeping in mind the varied socio-economic status of its residents and limited access to available solutions due to monetary constraints. The program intends to train residents of the slums to undertake energy audits of electrical appliances, cooking, drinking water, ventilation amongst others. The auditors will not only assess the energy consumption patterns but will also link interested end users to solution providers.
